Felicisimo Martinez Diez, OP

Professor of Christology

 

Professor Felicisimo Martinez Diez is a Dominican priest who holds a Licentiate in Philosophy and Letters from the Complutense University in Madrid and a Doctorate in Theology from the Angelicum University in Rome. He teaches theology in the Instituto Superior of Pastoral Theology Leo XIII of the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Madrid Campus, and in the Catholic University Andres Bello in Caracas. He is also a visiting professor of Theology in the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. Professor Felicisimo is a well-known speaker and writer. He has published dozens of articles and over thirty books on different relevant themes in theology, and religious life. Among his many books one may point out the following: Religion, What for? (1981), Latin-American Theology and European Theology (1989), Women in the Church (1990), Fundamental Theology (1997), etc. His bestselling books translated in different languages are: Re-founding Religious Life (1992) and Believing in Jesus Christ, Living as Christian (2005).Â
